With funding from a grant secured for us by My Discovery Destination!, we were able to host a FREE party on April 10, 2023, complete with a magician, face painter, balloon artist, photo booth and massage therapist! Over 100 families claimed their free ticket. They left with all sorts of giveaways including books, games, and salad! It was a success!
Our FIRST EVER gathering in-person (thank you, Covid, for finally letting us!) Over 70 women came together to celebrate International Women's Day on March 8th, 2022. We honored recipients of the FIRST EVER S.M.I.L.E. awards!
Momivate provided two high quality backpack style diaper bags filled with items to support a new mom and baby! Over 50 families participated and received helpful items including diapers, books, laundry detergent, canned food, and gun locks.
On the day before Mothers Day, our friends at Comunidad Materna en Utah held a bilingual expo to help connect mothers with the many resources available to them! We handed out free t-shirts that said FUN MOM and matching child-size tees that said FUN KID!

Parents are the main characters in the efforts of families to Be Ready for any kind of circumstances that life might bring upon us. Momivate worked together with My Discovery Destination to provide a virtual scavenger hunt complete with prizes that would help families navigate the booths at the February 2022 expo and work on preparedness in their own homes.
PTA is run by parents who know that success in school is increased when parents actively participate. Momivate partnered with My Discovery Destination at the most recent Utah PTA convention to spread the ideas we have about helping parents be excited about partnering with the schools to lead to the success of their children.
TWICE now, Level Two Social has held fundraisers where they donate 25% of the proceeds of a day's income to Momivate. We're so grateful for them!
Christmas memories are best when a bright backdrop accompanies them -- a beautifully decorated tree with shining lights! For the holiday season in 2021, Stephanie, aka XMASGIRL (seriously! That's on her license plate!) offered this beautiful opportunity for families to donate or receive gently used Christmas decor! When the holidays rolled around in 2022, Kristie and Krystal teamed up to keep this program running in Stephanie's absence.

Momivate has been to two career fairs so far, and hopes to have a presence at many in the future. Our goal is to remind both the potential employees and the employers present that motherhood is a profession in and of itself! We want to advocate among employers to shift attitudes regarding women and the workforce and the long-term benefits of children being raised by their own mothers. When a mother is employed, family friendly policies are necessary so that children can access their mothers without threats of punishment from employers. When a mother has left the workforce to focus on motherhood and then wants to re-enter the workforce, we want to help employers understand the skills she has built during motherhood that are valuable soft skills that all businesses will benefit from.
