Son. Daughter. Son. Daughter. Son. Daughter. Raised the middle of three children, our mother had great respect for her mother and the talents she offered in raising her family. Mom chose to follow in her mother‘s footsteps by not only having three children but doubling that.

She is currently the matron of six children, 26 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Her years as a stay at home mother involved endless meal preparation, keeping clothes on our backs, shoes on our feet, transporting us in countless directions, and providing direction, words of wisdom and encouragement . Later as we navigated adulthood, she always had a listening ear and her own experiences to share we could learn from.

She was a hands on mom, instilling the love of stories and reading, help with school work, and was a great cheerleader to each of her child’s interests. The most important thing our mother taught us was to “Trust in the Lord with all our hearts and lean not unto our own understanding but in all our ways acknowledge him and he will direct our paths.”

To a Woman full of courage , strength and perseverance. You have been an excellent example of turning the other cheek, forgive others and putting your shoulder to the wheel and you push along.

To a mother who took me on walks in the rain, watch me splash in the puddles. Put me in plays, made sure I was filled with culture from a bug Collections to the proper way to eat at a restaurant. Drove all six of us in the big brown van. Make sure I went to seminary, and some how got me to go to Ricks college, fead me, bathed me,love me. Love you Mom thanks for being my Mom.
