Momivate chose to honor Lisa Valentine Clark as the first ever recipient of our S.M.I.L.E. award for the category of Laughter!
She is an actor, writer, producer, and radio host. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in English from BYU, where she was part of the sketch/comedy troupe “The Garrens.” She co-founded the theater-as-improv troupe “The Thrillionaires.” Clark is the host of "The Lisa Show" on BYUradio. She played the character Gracie Moore in the award-winning web series Pretty Darn Funny, for which she was also writer and producer. She is the author of Real Moms: Making It Up as We Go. You can get a good feel for Lisa's life philosophy by watching the devotional she gave at BYU! She and her late husband are the parents of five children and live in Provo, Utah. Christopher had Lou Gehrig's disease (ALS) and passed away in 2020.
