nO ONE'S imperfect... THE WORD ITSELF SAYS, "i'm perfect!"

The truth is, you really are perfect as you are in this moment. Stick with me as I try to convince you of this logic, that you can be perfect even though your imperfections ceaselessly clamor to get the most attention. The key is to see yourself as your loving Father in Heaven sees you. He knew you would be imperfect as you live in this imperfect world – which HE created – AND... He created YOU.
We’re talking about a PERFECT God creating this obviously imperfect mortal experience… as part of his PERFECT plan! Our imperfections are of DIVINE DESIGN, so that we would recognize our need for a Savior and seek out this One Way back to God. We might try and try and try to improve personally, but we will always fall short and so we must trust in Christ as our one hope, which is why He is called The Way. And so it is that our imperfections are God's perfect design to draw us to the One who truly has the power to perfect us -- make us whole -- and deliver us back to our loving Father in Heaven.
I was blessed to have the opportunity to learn Russian as a young adult missionary. Learning a different language helped me learn my native language from a whole new perspective. A powerful example of this is the word PERFECT.
In Russian, "perfect" can be translated two ways. Based on my previous understanding of perfection, I would have chosen the word byezoshibok – which is two words squished together (the Russians do this a lot) – the words BYEZ “without” and OSHIBOK “mistake.” I genuinely believed that to be perfect was to be without mistake, to never make any errors.

But the Russian translations weren’t using that word. Instead, they used the word: soversheniya which means complete, or whole. Our mistakes are part of us -- they are part of our journey, our growth, our learning. God expects us to make mistakes, and that's why He sent His Son to cover for us, to fill in our gaps, to complete us. If our sins and failures turn us to our Savior Jesus Christ, then we are complete! Only through His power are we truly able to make progress.
