At Momivate, we have a few words that explode into greater meaning because each letter of the acronym stands for another word that gives more detail and definition to the original word!
Certification in motherhood allows a mother to demonstrate her growth in the five areas of the R.A.I.S.E. acronym, which benefit herself, her children, AND businesses, when she's ready to return to the workforce. Momivate will actively advocate among employers so that they'll recognize the RAISE certification on resumes and understand its value to their organization. Our Momifesto is our declaration of maternal intentions and motives. It is designed to be studied and repeated as a set of positive affirmations that will guide and inspire fellow mothers. A Momivator is a motivational mom! Whether her optimism comes naturally, or she's purposefully cultivated a positive attitude, she spreads hope and perspective to other mothers, lightening their loads and enlightening their minds. After going through training, she leads a MomUnity, hosting weekly SMILE gatherings in person or online. A MomUnity is a community for moms. Isn't it beautiful that embedded within the title is a call for unity among us mothers? We need each other! A short term for a MomUnity member. Plus a nod to the Brits for their nickname for mom! This acronym answers the questions: what do moms do? Moms RAISE UP society! R = relationships A = Atmosphere I = Income & Outgo S = Schedules & Systems E = Energy U = Unique Circumstances P = Personal Pursuits A SMILE gathering occurs weekly, under the direction of a Momivator, when MomUnity members get together to share Support, Music, Inspiration, Laughter, and Education. A list of mothers who have been "mominated" to be honored for their maternal efforts. It may be in the memory of one who has passed on. It may be when someone notices the mother's dedication and wants to acknowledge them publicly. If the name is highlighted, it leads to a page with a bio and photo where loved ones can leave happy thoughts and memories. |
