Former Director of Energy (Eating, Exercise, and Sleep)

I love the color fuchsia. I am a slow reader but all of my favorite books are all very long. I adore what a truly talented writer can create in an epic novel.  I belong to a book club but mostly it is so I can talk to other moms and eat yummy food. I eat dessert twice a day; don’t judge me. I wish my finger nails magically stayed painted all of the time without having to do them. I grew up with cats but we have a dog. And a frog. I think snow is magical. Snow is where I fell in love with my husband eighteen years ago. I get a little bit grumpy when it is over eighty-five degrees. I have a wall in my living room with black and white photos of my ancestors.  I enjoy inviting people over for dinner and playing board games. I graduated (cough::cough) years ago from Brigham Young University in dietetics and recently finished writing a mothering book called Last of Her Kind. I take thousands of pictures every year, but I can’t help myself, I love the beautiful collage we are creating together of our lives. Above all else, I am a Child of God. Second only to that is devoted wife and loving mother of eight children. (Fort Collins, Colorado)
